Responsible Gaming

This page explains what this site can and cannot do about gambling controls, and gives general practical advice on gambling safely. Every page on this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links found in listings, they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.

Know What Controls Live at the Destination, Not Here

Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an account held with an operator. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch such a control on, check its status or enforce it. Anyone who wants one of these controls has to set it up inside an account after leaving this site.

  • No age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any age check happens at the destination the reader is sent to.
  • No advertising or behavioural profiling network operates on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on risky behaviour.
  • The eighteen-and-over restriction is stated on the front page and repeated at the end of every operator listing.
  • Each of the ten operator listings closes with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.
  • Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site — each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.

Apply These Practical Habits Before You Start

The following advice does not depend on any feature of this site; it applies wherever gambling happens.

  • Decide the amount before starting. A number chosen in advance, away from the excitement of play, is far steadier than one chosen mid-session.
  • Treat that amount as already spent. Thinking of it as gone rather than "available" removes the temptation to stretch it further than planned.
  • Never chase a loss. Trying to win back what has gone tends to increase the amount at risk rather than recover it.
  • Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Money that carries a repayment obligation adds pressure that has nothing to do with the game itself.
  • Take breaks. Stepping away for even a short time interrupts momentum and allows a clearer decision about whether to continue.
  • Involve someone else early. Talking to another person while gambling is still entertainment is easier than waiting until it no longer feels that way.
